Family Gathering

We had some visitors a couple of weeks ago and it was sooo good to see them!!  We have missed Logan and his cheesy grins...

and Samantha too!!

We had a great night with the whole family.  The kids played outside for the longest time.  Samantha brought one of her friends who did this fun art work on the driveway.  The neighbors ended up over too.  It was so funny to see all these girl names...and then there was Logan.  :-)

My little mama!

After having some dinner, we moved the fun inside.  I asked the girls to smile for the picture...thanks Kelsey. :-)

Ok, now for the grumpy faces.

It was so fun to play and catch up with everyone.  It's such a blessing that we are able to have our home bustling with people and to see them all loving each other!  We are blessed!

Libby's 2!

Libby's birthday was pretty much the same as Caroline's....family plus the Smith clan.  We decided to go up to Tanglewood Farms and visit the miniature animals.  Libby loved it...

and Caroline hated it!  :-/  God really does make us all different...even if we are from the same parents.  :-)

The "miniature" buffalo.

Grand-dude and Libby in the BIG chair.

Made a puppy cake for her since that was one of her first words and she is always pointing them out.

Silly girl!

I love the look of awe on her face as she looks at the cardboard box.

Libby is so excited about being a big girl and starting preschool!

Libby loves some construction equipment...every time we pass a construction site all I hear is "MOMMY, MOMMY!!"

Favorite family picture to date....all looking and all content.  :-)

Daddy and the Girls

Daddy has been traveling a lot lately so when he is home we soak up all the time that we can with him.

Caroline had been asking to go see airplanes so we took them to Elevation which is a restaurant at the little airport up the road.  The fact that Caroline was asking, made Mark's day!  The girls enjoyed checking out the planes.

Daddy even sweet talked one of the workers into taking us out there and letting the girls get inside.  They all enjoyed it!

4 Years Old!

I can't believe that Caroline is 4 years old!  4 means she is no longer a toddler and just a short year from now she will be going to elementary school!  AAHH!

We didn't have a big party this year...just a little brunch with family and the Smiths too.  :-)  After brunch we opened some presents and then had a little swim.

Granddude is always taking pictures for us. :-)

Friends!

Caroline's new bike!

Gigi Visited

Gigi came and spent the week with us and we had a great time doing a bunch of nothing.  The days were actually full but only of fun things.  We LOVE when she comes to visit and are so sad to see her go.  There is never enough time.  She plays with the girls, she lets me workout, we enjoy sewing together and doing other crafts.  She is always giving good advice on parenting or any other advice I need at the time.  She is also the only one who attempts to eat my crazy cooking!  I'm very thankful for our time together and I know the girls are too.  Libby is always pretending to talk on the phone to Gigi and Caroline keeps asking when she is going to come back!
