Babies are like...

pocketbooks...or so my friend Nan told me today! I was talking with her about the possibility of me going to my 10 year high school reunion two weeks after Caroline is born. She said, "Babies, younger than about 4 months are like pocketbooks. You just pack them up and go and if you are breast feeding you really only need yourself and the baby!" I realize that it may not be exactly how it is going to be but it sure made me smile and realize what a sweet time it will be with a newborn.
