Happy 4th of July!

We had a great day today!  This afternoon we had a few friends over for lunch.  We played a couple of games chatted about fun things like nudie camps.  :-)  Then tonight we went over to our neighbors for dinner.  I love going over there to visit because their home is so full of life.  Their is always joy and laughter and lots of talking.  I love it!  We had a great dinner together.  Mark and I then traipsed back home and put the buger in bed.  We worked on a little sewing project that I hope to show off soon and before long it was time for fireworks!  Back outside we went to join all the neighbors in the cul-de-sac.

We enjoyed a little ice cream and cupcakes with red, white and blue sprinkles...

while our neighbor Mike prepared the show.

Sarah braved bringing little Reagan out for the fireworks show. Reagan, who is even more laid back than Caroline, was not fazed by the fireworks.
We, on the other hand, brought the monitor outside and left Caroline inside.  Thankfully, she slept through all of the festivities.

The sparklers brought back lots of childhood memories!
